About Kevin Wasden
Kevin Wasden is an artist, illustrator, writer, and educator known for his work in science fiction and fantasy. Wasden has created art for publishers like Avon Camelot, Baen, and Fantasy Flight Games, and served as creative director at Alinco Costumes, designing mascots for teams such as the Chicago Bulls and Arizona Diamondbacks. He co-created the sci-fi series Hazzardous Universe and developed the webcomic Technosaurs. As an educator, he has held roles from high school art teacher to K–8 principal. His recent writing includes contributions to CulturED: Pathways to Meaningful School Change (2022), Lost Between Light & Shadow (2024), and Dog Save the King (2025).
